First we give some global guidelines for articles published in the MTN:
- MTN articles do not have an abstract - Sections and subsections are not numbered - When giving examples in Maple, both input and output must be shown - The reader should be able to reproduce the output by simply entering every Maple input, i.e. you should not hide some steps.
The directory contains the following files:
driver.tex - the main file headings.sty - define the headings maple.sty - Maple input and output article.tex - an example article (the D operator from MTN 7)
These files define the following commands you should use:
for section headings. Sections are not numbered in MTN
for subsection headings
output.
titleauthorspageheader defines the title of the paper and also the short text (normally the title) which appears on top of every page.
The inclusion of PostScript figures is problematic since there is not
standard for that. We propose you send your postscript figures separately
and reserve in the latex document the space for the figures e.g. by
a simple
ommand or if you wish, with the following figure/picture
environment:
The file driver.tex inputs the file which contains your article. As an example, we supply the source of an article out of the MTN 7.
With submission of an article, a short one-paragraph biography from the author(s), including fields of interest, should be included, and also a file which contains all Maple input of the article. This helps to verify the output.
